The Door Christian Fellowship Ministries of McAllen, Texas was founded in June 1990, when Pastor Joe & Mary Helen Moreno were sent out from The Door Christian Fellowship in San Antonio, Texas. They began faithfully preaching the Gospel and reaching lost souls with their compassion and desire to serve. The Holy Spirit moved, and scores of young people received Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Since that time, Pastor Roman Gutierrez and his wife Nora have taken over pastorate and are patiently and diligently disciplining these young men and women. Following the biblical example of world evangelism, some of these disciples are sent to start churches in other cities, states, and nations. Under Roman Gutierrez steadfast leadership, The Door Christian Fellowship Ministries of McAllen is continuing to make disciples, plant churches and reach lost souls for the kingdom of God. Today, more than 15 churches worldwide can trace their roots back to The Door CFM. By the grace of God, the small church that started many years ago has become a thriving congregation.
The Door Christian Fellowship Ministries of McAllen, Texas is a Bible-based, Spirit-filled, nondenominational family of believers. Our pastors and staff count it a privilege to welcome you to our church and minister to your spiritual needs. Ushers are available before, during and after each service to answer your questions and help guide you.
A quality nursery and children’s ministry are available each service for infants and children up to ten years old. Regular services begin with praise and worship that will ready your heart for the preaching of God’s Word. After prayer requests and opening the service in prayer, we take an offering to honor the Lord. Announcements are followed by the biblical preaching of God’s Word and an altar call. We are excited to welcome you to The Door CFM and look forward to meeting you in person.
The focus of worship at The Door Christian Fellowship Ministries is to provide an inviting atmosphere where men and women can experience, first-hand, the gracious and loving presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is our desire to allow the Holy Spirit to create an openness in people’s hearts so that they may receive the preaching of the Word of God.
