In the gospel of Matthew Jesus is moved with compassion and exhorts the church of toady to step out of our comfort zone and reach the lost…
Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. 36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”  (Matt 9:35-38)
Following the biblical example of world evangelism, we raise up couples that have a passion to win the lost. We send them into cities, states and foreign nations to start a new church referred to as a “Pioneer Church.” The Door Christian Fellowship Church of McAllen is continuing to make disciples, plant churches and reach lost souls for the kingdom of God. Today, more than 20 churches worldwide can trace their roots back to The Door Christian Fellowship Ministries of McAllen, TX.
